A New Look and Name for Mezzanine
TORONTO, Ontario – March 15th, 2010 – Mezzanine Consulting today launched its new corporate identity and name, The Mezzanine Group. Mezzanine is a Toronto-based growth services firm for Fortune 500 and small and mid-sized private organizations, known for its market intelligence and marketing planning services.
“I’m excited about our new look and name,” says Lisa Shepherd, president. “They are a better reflection of who we are. Last year we added Outsourced Marketing as a service for small and mid-sized organizations, which means we do a lot of implementation work. ‘Consulting’ was no longer an appropriate name for us.”
Mezzanine began as a boutique consultancy, providing market assessment, buyer behavior and competitive intelligence services to marketing executives in large corporations as well as to business leaders of small and mid-sized companies in 2001. The firm grew quickly and was recognized as one of the Fastest Growing Companies in Canada from 2005 to 2008 by PROFIT Magazine.
In 2008, Mezzanine acquired Hinge Marketing Management in recognition of the need for better marketing implementation options for small and mid-sized companies. Mezzanine has provided Outsourced Marketing to companies with revenue $2M - $20M and limited in-house marketing since then. “We will continue to grow our Outsourced Marketing operations. The need for a better marketing solution for small and mid-sized organizations is significant. According to a recent poll, only 13% of Canada’s small and mid-sized companies are confident in their marketing. We look forward to improving that.”
Along with the new name, Mezzanine launches a new corporate identity. Adds Shepherd, “ I’m thrilled with our new look. The logo portrays our personality and values , especially the motto ‘Intelligence + Imagination’ – that’s us in a nutshell.”
