Lisa has been working with complex and tech-based B2B companies for almost 20 years. As the Founder of The Mezzanine Group, she has helped over 250 organizations successfully grow their potential – and increase their bottom line.
Lisa’s focus is providing in-depth strategy and marketing expertise to B2B companies with sophisticated and niche products and services. She has worked with organizations of every size, from marketing divisions of large corporations to the leadership teams of small and mid-sized companies. She has provided strategy and marketing, market intelligence, marketing planning and performance management services to clients in over 30 industries including manufacturing, aerospace, financial services, telecommunications, oil and gas, technology, healthcare, technical and professional services.
Lisa speaks frequently on B2B marketing and strategy at industry associations, economic development groups and universities. She is also the B2B marketing blogger for PROFIT Magazine and has served on the Board of Directors for Innovators Alliance, a peer group for CEOs of fast-growing Ontario firms. She is the youngest female CEO to be named to the PROFIT 100, was nominated for the Top 40 Under 40 and the Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. She is also the author of the recently published Market Smart: How to Gain Customers and Increase Profits with B2B Marketing.
Gayle has over 15 years experience in B2B marketing and lead generation, business development, consulting, training and CRM software and marketing automation implementation. Her strengths lie in knowing how marketing, business development, strategic planning and sales management can work together to drive results for her clients. She builds marketing strategies that use integrated tactics customized to each of our clients.
Prior to joining The Mezzanine Group, Gayle was Director, B2B Marketing at TRADER Corporation. Gayle holds a BA from the University of Toronto and a Masters, Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario.
As a solid technology marketer with 16+ years with B2B technology products, solutions and services, Linda has the in-depth expertise to take technology SMBs to the next level.
Her extensive knowledge has helped wireless telecommunications, IT and security companies develop global digital marketing and lead generation programs for the complex sale, resulting in improved business, greater brand awareness and extended reach.
Linda is friendly, approachable – and eminently knowledgeable. Her primary expertise lies in marketing strategy, planning and measurement, lead generation and marketing infrastructure. She ensures that marketing plans are properly implemented, executed and measured on a day-to-day basis, and has successfully spearheaded marketing planning, budgeting and resource management in a number of international companies. She is also very hands on with programming, executing and measuring online and offline integrated marketing programs for brand awareness and lead generation, integration of CRM and marketing automation systems, thought leadership content and website management, inside sales management, public relations and product launch planning.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, with a concentration in Marketing. When she’s not building business for technology companies, she spends her time rock climbing, riding horses, golfing and volunteering as an adult literacy tutor.
A creative, dynamic and solutions-focused marketing professional, Kim has over 12 years of experience in developing and executing high-impact, B2B and B2C integrated marketing programs for global brands on both the client and agency sides. She brings a proven capacity to translate strategic, big-picture thinking into effective tactical action that drives results. She possesses an affinity for understanding the customer experience across the converged media landscape inclusive of email, direct, social and advertising.
Kim teaches part-time for the Continuing Education department at George Brown College and is also an active committee member for The Ernestine Affair, an annual fundraising event to support Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter in Toronto.
Kim holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University and completed the Executive Marketing program at Queen’s University. She is known for cultivating strong relationships with clients, vendors and strategic partners and for empowering others through an energetic and passionate leadership style as a manager, mentor and teacher.
For the last 20 years, Nikki has developed and managed B2B marketing strategies and successful programs in product marketing, corporate marketing, demand generation and public relations. Previous positions include owning Siren Marketing, a successful marketing consultancy as well as holding executive marketing positions at a number of mid-size and large companies including QuickPlay Media, Critical Path, Microsoft and Baan Company.
Nikki holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario.
Sarah Basiri is a results oriented, innovative marketing leader with a proven record of accomplishments in developing, managing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
Sarah has over 10 year of B2B marketing experience in all industry verticals such as; Energy, Finance, Legal, HR, Technology, Pharma, Innovation, Manufacturing and etc. She delivers measurable results in the areas of brand, lead generation, content marketing, program and campaign strategy, social media and events.
Sarah holds a Double Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Business Administration from York University.
Sanjana is a seasoned marketing and communications professional and an MBA graduate. Her strengths include strategic marketing, content creation, project management, new product launches, communications plans and brand management. In addition, her interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills are exceptional, allowing her to succeed in all types of environments and endeavours.
Numerous academic and professional experiences have shaped Sanjana into the creative, problem solving leader that she is proud to call herself today. At her most recent position as Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Ontario’s top B2B education solutions provider, Sanjana took a chief role in strategizing and executing marketing and communication campaigns which generated increased sales and revenue for the organization. Previously, Sanjana held the title of Project Manager for the launch of a new sustainability initiative at McMaster University and worked within CPG environment for a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings to launch a new driveway sealant product.
During her personal time, Sanjana is passionate about traveling. Having visited numerous cities in Asia, Europe and North America and developing an addiction to foreign sights, sounds and tastes, Sanjana is always planning her next adventure abroad. On home ground, Sanjana considers herself an avid foodie and enthusiastically explores the culinary treats Toronto has to offer – sometimes dabbling her fingers in the art of cooking and coming up with interesting results.
Jeannie is known for her passion for marketing, her project management skills and her dedication to client and partner service. Jeannie works with clients in a wide range of industries, from industrial and technical companies to professional services firms. Prior to Mezzanine, Jeannie worked in a marketing agency delivering contests and program management, email and social media marketing.
Jeannie graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies Honors Degree and holds a Diploma in Interactive Web Design and a Certificate in Event and Function Management. Always keen on knowing the latest in marketing, Jeannie can often be found attending workshops and events from various organizations. In her free time, Jeannie enjoys spending time with her Yorkie, Mocha, and to travel around the world to experience new cultures.
Caleigh has over five years of Marketing and Communications experience. In her most recent position, she was the sole marketer responsible for the company’s online presence, printed materials, swag, document formatting and event planning. Some of her other past experience includes The University of Iowa Athletics Department, IMU Marketing and Design and The Ministry of Science Technology and Tertiary Education of Trinidad and Tobago.
Caleigh graduated from the University of Iowa with a M.A in Mass Communications. Previously she received a B.A in Mass Communications and Journalism with a certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the same institution. While at the University of Iowa Caleigh competed as a student-athlete for the university Track and Field team, an experience that shaped her personal and professional life.
